Extending the App

The following pages outline some recipes for additional data you may be able to use in conjunction with the CDR data. 

At least one of these should be useful to you, and sometimes more than one. 

• Sites — Report on physical locations using IP to location mapping.
• Groups — Use names, departments and similar fields from AD to report on or filter by, just as if they were in the raw data itself. 
• Devices — makes more detailed device-level information at your fingertips to report on, filter by or for grouping.

• The Clusters lookup is less important to learn about, as it is largely populated automatically by the app itself. 
• Creating custom device types can be surprisingly useful and is worth checking out.
