Cisco Meeting Server

This integration involves installing an additional Sideview app from Splunkbase, our Supporting App for Cisco Meeting Server.

Data can be ingested via Splunk HTTP Event Collector. The CMS software itself has a webhook mechanism whereby CDR’s get POSTed to a configurable URL

Admins will set up HEC on Splunk and enter the HEC url in as the ​“recipient device” URL into the CMS admin screens.

Admins will install Sideview’s ​“SA_​cisco_​meeting_​server” app on the Search Head tier, and also install a second copy of that SA wherever they are running the Splunk HTTP Event Collector (HEC). (as time goes on we will almost certainly pull out a separate smaller ​“TA” app for this.)
