You just heard about a failed call or a new problem and you need to find the call in question and view its details. This might be to corroborate something you were just told about that call, or to see if you can find new information about it.
After the list of calls comes up, click on the call you want to review.
NOTE: If the call you are looking for is old enough to not be on screen, you can use the next >> link to scroll back through older calls.
You want to see all calls in or out of a particular extension, to get a quick sense of what’s been going on. Quickly check a few other fields about these calls, quickly spot-check the calls from a few hours ago or from yesterday.

You can jump straight into a General Report for the displayed calls by clicking the link on the far right (under the button for Edit Fields) that says » graph calls over time.
You can return to the Browse Calls page again by clicking » see calls which will show up in that same position on the page. An example of doing this is in this part of the Core UI Overview video.
Save a report easily by clicking the Save button on the right and selecting Save Report… from the menu. A short wizard will open asking you for a name and to whom you would like it shared to. Watch the this section of the Core UI Overview video to see it in action.
You want to be able to pick a time range and one or more departments or groups and see an overview of call activity for all the individuals in that group or in those groups. Total inbound/outbound/internal call duration and inbound/outbound/internal call counts.
