Extending the App

The following pages outline some recipes for additional data you may be able to use in conjunction with the CDR data. 

At least one of these should be useful to you, and sometimes more than one. 

• Groups — Use names, departments and similar fields from AD to report on or filter by, just as if they were in the raw data itself. 
• Devices — makes more detailed device-level information at your fingertips to report on, filter by or for grouping.
• Sites — Report on physical locations using IP to location mapping.

CUBE can be used as an additional data source, so if you have CUBE in your environment you might want to set that up.

These last couple may also be useful to you. 

• Other CM data via syslog — get phone registration, deregistrations and other information
  
• Loading historical data — backfill your data.
